Künstliche Intelligenz: Dem Menschen überlegen – wie KI uns rettet und bedroht

Jan 2023 🇩🇪 Droemer Knaur

"Künstliche Intelligenz" ("Artificial Intelligence: Superior to Humans — How AI Both Saves and Threatens Us") is Spitzer's 2023 book examining generative AI's rapid public arrival following ChatGPT's release. Writing for a general readership, he surveys AI's use and risks across medicine, the military, climate science, criminal justice, politics, and everyday and economic life, arguing the technology has spread through society faster than regulation or public understanding of its risks. The book does not focus specifically on children, but its central argument — that a powerful new technology is being adopted before its effects are well understood — extends the caution Spitzer has argued in his earlier books about school computers and smartphones to consumer AI tools children increasingly encounter through homework helpers, chatbots, and AI-generated content. TechKids Foundation includes it as Spitzer's most recent book-length statement, summarized in our own words using association rather than causal framing.
